Earnable ("we", "us") is a guided app that helps you turn a skill into income. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect and how we use it. We keep it minimal on purpose.
What we collect
- What you tell the app: your name, chosen skill, goals, progress, earnings you log, and your conversations with the AI assistant.
- If you sign in with Google: your name, email, and profile photo, so we can save your data to your own account.
- Basic technical data your browser sends automatically (like device/browser type) to keep the app running.
Where your data lives
By default, your data is stored locally on your device. If you sign in with Google, a copy is also saved to your private space in Google Firebase so your progress follows you across devices. Only you (signed into your account) can access it.
AI features
The assistant, lessons, and work review are powered by Google's Gemini AI. When you use them, the relevant text (and any image you upload for review) is sent to Google to generate a response. We don't use your content to train our own models.
What we DON'T do
- We don't sell your personal data. Ever.
- We don't show you ads.
- We don't share your information except with the trusted services that run the app (Google Firebase for accounts, Google Gemini for AI, Vercel for hosting).
Your choices
You can clear your data anytime from your profile menu → Restart my path, or by logging out. To have your account data deleted, just email us and we'll take care of it.
Children
Earnable isn't intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we'll remove it.
